Can confirm what BlueDraconis said. If you add -windowed to the drakensang.exe, the game will run no problem. I played it myself a couple of months ago from start to finish (again). I hadn't played it since it originally released and was curious how it would hold up. The "funny" thing about this is, only Drakensang - River of Time has this problem.
